ORO
A National, Year-Round Research Organization
The Organization for Research in Otolaryngology & Related Surgical Specialties (ORO) operates year-round as a national, nonprofit research network. Our members collaborate virtually across academic centers throughout the United States and even internationally, allowing participation regardless of institutional affiliation.

ORO is designed to function continuously, with active projects, mentorship and collaboration occurring throughout the year.

Why ORO?
Opportunities for high-quality surgical research are often constrained by institutional access, informal networks, and geographic proximity. ORO was created to remove these barriers by connecting motivated trainees with faculty-led, publishable research through a structured, team-based model focused on accountability and execution.
